there's also going to be a bad accident nr the train station @ elsecar as the stupid council have made a parking bay across from the pizza house for 3 cars as well as people parking outside the shops and kebab house leaving a gap just big enough for 1 vehicle to get through at a time and ive seen numerous near misses with pedestrians because of it . the stupidity of Barnsley council knows no bounds . that layby across from the pizza house should never have been created !

I agree with both Mick & Craig. Double parking on King Street is a nightmare, there should be room for cars to travel in both directions without stopping. What Craig didn't say about the parking bays near the Pizza House it that they are also on a really bad bend in the road. Parking on both sides will lead to a very bad accident involving a head on collision.
