YOBS cost the Council nearly four thousand pounds a year EACH, new figures have revealed.

The figures released by the Council show that apporoximately £3,803 will be spent on helping each yob in their rehabillitiation this year, which includes finding the reasons for their offending behaviour.

However, latest figures show that nearly 30 per cent of yobs offend again.

Despite this, the Council says that reoffending levels remain positive in comparison to neighbouring authorities.

And their waste of space parents should foot the bill, but no, because the systems broken!

I agree the system is broken. Waste of space parents of a lot of young offenders - definitely. Also I suppose a lot of 'expensive' young offenders are in care so no parents on the scene at all.

Is that per offender? Seems a low figure it it's the total for a borough of nearly quarter of a million people

John, it's a figure per offender and it must be an average. I guess it includes the sharp end of the wedge, young offenders who get custody etc The full figures and the breakdown released by the council must make interesting reading for anybody with a mathematical brain and a social work degree!

Dear WAB,
you simply CANNOT use the word "yob" in this day and age, it is simply NOT acceptable!

Expect a visit from the politically correct police who will come and close your website down with immediate effect!

As usual,it's the good old tax payer that coughs up for everything under the sun.
This is because lots of parents do not have a decent work ethic, they do however know how to procreate to enhance their income.

The sad fact is the care system is full to bursting with kids from parents who cannot look after them.....shocking that!
