YOUNG PEOPLE in Barnsley are set to benefit from fresh funding for youth work charity GAZ (Grimethorpe Activity Zone).

GAZ, which works with eight to 25-year-olds to increase opportunity and provide alternative education, will receive a £1000 grant from construction company Esh Group to help fund training and give young people the employability skills they need to find work.

David Taylor, GAZ manager said: “On behalf of GAZ I would like to say a big thank you to the Esh Charitable Trust for the funding they have given us. It will have a huge impact on the services we provide for the young people of our community.”

What great news and a great place to help kids
They did a fantastic job helping my son achieve his goals and gcse's where upon primary and secondary schooling failed my sons needs.
Care compassion close parent liaison and listening to the voice of a child makes gaz a very very worthwhile organisation to support and keep running.
