Council submits housing plan

THE SITE of the former Longar Conference Centre could be used to build 32 house, if a plan gets the go-ahead.

Barnsley Council has applied for planning permission to develop the site on Longcar Lane for 30 semi-detached houses - some of which will be three story four-bedroom ones.

It will be considered by the planning board next week.

Poor folk who purchased on the Strata Home site. They already have problems on there. Roll on the next ones across the road.

Seen as the council have applied will this be social housing? And can we really see them refusing themselves permission?
