Public toilets close in Hoyland

Wednesday December 2 2015

HOYLAND'S public toilets will close for good on Friday after a plan to save them failed.

The toilets on Market Street are closing as part of spending cutbacks.

Initially it was thought that local ward members could use funding from their devolved budget to keep it open but the money is no longer available.

Good idea to close them and hopefully demolish them as they are a real eyesore.

Just like to point out that the toilets weren't cleaned for best part of 6 months ! Disgusting! As for using the gates attached to them, how come you only see councillors when it suits them, they haven't supported the shops or stalls within the market ! Thanks for that !
