A £10,000 reward offered for information in a robbery investigation has led to two arrests being made - in Barnsley.

A 50-year-old man and 47-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail while the inquiry continues.

The incident saw June Shaw, 62, tied to a chair in her own home in Ashbourne, Derby, by a gang of robbers.

She saw them outside when she heard her dog barking and they threatened her with a crowbar, dragged her inside the house and tied her to a chair.

Anyone with information should call CID on 101, quoting crime reference number 44975/15, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
