Intimidating incident on train travelling to Thurnscoe

POLICE are looking for two young men after one of them spat and swore at a female train conductor travelling between Meadowhall and Thurnscoe.

British Transport Police want to speak to the pair about the indimidating incident which took place at around 3.30pm on Wednesday, September 16.

Investigating officer PC Helen White said: “The conductor of the service approached two young men, one of whom had spat out of the door at Swinton station, and reprimanded him.

"The pair then became abusive towards the conductor, swearing and using threatening language, which made her feel intimidated.

“When the doors were released the pair left the train and went on to spray black paint on the windows. One of them then walked towards the conductor spitting and swearing at her."
