Two men arrested after man found dead in Barnsley

TWO men have been arrested after a 19-year-old man was found dead at a home on Smithies Lane in Barnsley.

Police were called to the address at 3.53pm on Sunday, September 6.

Detective Chief Inspector Chris Singleton said: "At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained.

"A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course which will help us to establish the exact cause of death.

"Two local men aged 18 and 20 have been arrested in connection with the death and they remain in custody at the present time."

Thinking of his family at this sad time such a young age n for the nasty comment ignore someone has died here regardless the reason think of what his family is going thru abit of respect doesnt go a miss may I add it also states cause of death unknown at this time rip fly high

Gutted to say the least, Brankin was a great lad and one of my best mates, guarantee if I needed somebody to have my back, regardless of why, Brankin was the man I'd call on. Rest In Peace my man, you'll be greatly missed.

we received surprise message from you couple months ago after 6 years no see, said you are coming to find us..and we are waiting..don't matter where we are..even end of the world I know you will find us if you wanted to. The loss of any youngster is too tragic for words...... May the family of Callum find kindness & strength from their friends & the people who love them.... All souls rest in peace no matter how or when they die... He is at peace now.
