Barnsley Jubilee Parties - The WAB Guide

STREET parties, music fesivals and parades to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee have been organised to take place across Barnsley in June.
We thought it would be useful to collate all of them in one place so you could see what was going on. If we've missed any, feel free to comment in the box or email nicky@wearebarnsley.com
May 30
St Joseph's Nursery Party from 6.00-7.30pm - they have hired a London bus and will be doing short trips around the area.
May 31
Gower Street, Wombwell from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm
June 2
Church Street, Cawthorne from 10am to 5.30 pm
Howell Gardens, Thurnscoe from 9am to 11pm
Party In The Park with live local bands, stalls, activities and even a motorcycle show at Elsecar Park, between 12 noon till 5pm.
Alternative Music Festival, featuring over 20 local bands. BBQ and kids play at Fitzwilliam Pub at Elsecar from 12noon to 7pm.
June 3
Calabria Grove, Barnsley from 9am to midnight
Tivy Dale/Taylor Hill/Church Street, Cawthorne (Parade) from 2pm to 3pm
June 4
Clifton Close, Athersley North from 2pm to 11pm
Guest Road/Swift Street, Barnsley from 10am to 8pm
June 5
Allendale Road/Cavendish Road, Barnsley from noon to 7pm
Ladymead, Monk Bretton from 1pm to 7pm
St Lukes Road/Brierley Road/Church Street, Grimethorpe/Brierley (Road Race) from 12.00 noon to 1.00 pm
Swale Close, Bolton-on-Dearne from 11am to 5pm
Woodland View, Wombwell from 11.30 am to 4.30 pm
June 7
Pennine View/Pennine Close, Staincross from 10am to 6pm
June 8
King Street/Queen Street area, Thurnscoe from 9am to 4pm
