Where do WAB get their forecasts from.sesame street, only areas snow is forecast is for the Scottish highlands and mountains and for very high ground of yorkshire dales and moors, this is stated by the met office, anywhere else is rain or a bit of sleety rain, not a scrap of snow forecast for barnsley and especially not heavy snow.

if it did snow BMBC would sell the grit to other councils and not put it on the roads. Except of course the roads to councillors houses.

I love snow and hope we have it all winter!! But i feel sorry for the OAP who are house bound because of the useless BMBC who allow it's plumbers,sparkies,joiners....to about chatting and eating bacon butties because they can't get to their jobs because of the snow!!! Give them all a shovel and fill their lorries and vans with grit and get the paths of Barnsley clear. Make them work for a wage and allow the OAP out and our kids to school and of cause everyone to work in safety!!! Look at Germany,Sweden,Canada....for examples of how a little less idleness and more organisation keeps a country moving!!
