Barnsley Man Missing From Hospital

A BARNSLEY man has been urged to make contact after going missing from a psychiatric hospital.

Police have appealed for the public’s help locating 40-year-old man James Stephenson.

Mr Stephenson was last seen at around 2.30pm on October 9, when he left Cambian Oaks Hospital in Sheffield Road, Barnsley.

He told staff he intended to go shopping in either Leeds or Huddersfield, but did not return.

Enquiries reveal that Mr Stephenson withdrew some money in the Wakefield area a day later.

Mr Stephenson is known to travel on the rail network and has been known to travel to both London and West Yorkshire.

He is described as being a white man with ginger hair that is closely shaved and is approximately 5ft 8ins tall.

Mr Stephenson was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper with a brown raincoat and blue jeans. He was also wearing a pair of blue ‘Air Max’ trainers.

Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident number 763 of October 9.

A man of that description came into the choppy in darfield were I work last night he looked very ruff and was acting very strange he olso had no shoes on

What is a choppy ? Is it a Chippy crossed with a Chinese. A chip shop chey.

That individual was me, I forgot my shoes because I was in a hurry to get to choppy chippy as I was famished as for being "rough" not "ruff",you should see what you look like from where I was standing and that is why I was acting strangely as you scared the hell out of me
