CCTV Image Released After Armed Robbery

A CCTV image has been released of a man in connection to an armed robbery in Barnsley.

The incident, which happened at a Royston bookmakers on April 8, saw a man leave with a large amount of cash after threatening staff with what is believed to be a handgun.

Nobody was injured in the incident, but despite extensive enquiries, no arrests have been made.

Officers believe the man in the CCTV image could hold useful information.

Anyone who recognises the man, or who has information about the incident, should call Barnsley CID on 101 quoting incident number 1157 of April 8 or report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Its the year 2014 and shops are still producing 1mp images,they dont deserve to catch people when they are using well out of date cctv,they have camera technology now that could show skin complection they are that clear,suggest this bookies should go invest in some

Why have the Police waited 5 months before releasing the CCTV images.
