Glowing Report For Barnsley School

Friday September 19 2014

A BARNSLEY primary school has received a glowing report from Ofsted.

Attainment is rising throughout Hunningley Primary School and pupils achieve well in reading, writing and maths - but inspectors said lessons could be more interesting, challenging and inspiring.

A report said the good teaching was due to 'strong leadership of teaching and learning'.

It said: "The executive headteacher provides strong, aspirational leadership and has been fundamental to significant improvements made since the previous inspection."

The school has adopted some well-established systems and procedures, as well as leadership skills, and has benefited from the sharing of expertise in lots of key areas.

And here's me thinking that good teaching is due to good teachers, but what do I know?

This has NOTHING to do with Barnsley social services. Well done to Hunningley Primary school - both staff and children

well done to hunningley primary, the children and of course the staff :-D
*madbitch you clearly have your own issues regarding social services this is not the place/subject to air them! children aren't stolen they are removed if it is thought that they are at risk of harm!

Good teachers need a strong leadership otherwise they become complacent and start taking short cuts in planning, interaction and challenge for the children. Well done Hunningley staff and children.
