Mum Creates App To Prevent Kids From Ignoring Parents

Tuesday August 19 2014

A MOTHER has created a new app which makes it impossible for children to ignore their parents' calls and texts.

Sharon Standifird, from Houston, Texas, grew frustrated at her son's habit of dismissing her calls and was spurred on to create 'Ignore No More'.

The app allows parents to take control of their children's smartphones and until they reply to their missed calls and texts, they're unable to text or call others, play games or browse the internet.

It's currently available on Google Play for Android phones, although there are plans for an iPhone version.

Do you think this is a good idea? Is it something you'd do? Have your say below.

Couldn't the kids just uninstall the app? Kids are whizzes at this sort of thing so any attempt to lock it down would be defeated in about four seconds flat.

If your children think anything about there parents why would they want to ignore there phone calls or messages, seems to me there may be trouble in the camp if they do.
