Reservoir Swimmer Named By Police

A SWIMMER who died in a reservoir on the outskirts on Barnsley has been named by the police.

Jonathan Pardon, 38, from the Fartown area of Huddersfield, died after getting into difficulty in Snailsden near Dunford Bridge.

His body was recovered from the water on Sunday afternoon.

There are no suspicious circumstances and a post-mortem examination will take place later this week to determine the exact cause of Mr Pardon's death.
