Funding Bid Made For M1 Junction 36

Friday May 23 2014

A £28 MILLION funding bid to improve the road network around M1 junction 36 and lay the infrastructure for a new employment park has made it through to the next stage of the approval process.

The Sheffield City Region Investment Fund (SCRIF) application is part of the Sheffield City Region Enterprise zone.

Coun Roy Miller said: "It's been identified as the top priority and has beaten all the competition hands down. We're just waiting now.

"It will bring excellent employment opportunities to the borough and I'm extremely confident we will get the go-ahead very soon."

Great news ??? So, these jkbs. Will they be for english workers? Will there be half decent wages ran by hitler style companies ?? Wil it be a decent living wage with good holidays and pension??? Oh and before i forget, what about the atrocious conditions of the current road network. Fill of potholes and would seem in a ireparable state !!!
