BARNSLEY man Alan Bower scooped more than £2,000 after winning the ITV quiz show Tipping Point.
The 54-year-old, of Innovation Way, Wilthorpe, was shown winning the show on Tuesday.

The show, presented by Ben Shepherd, involves four players who take on a huge 'penny slot' machine in the hope of winning the jackpot.

The more questions the contestants answer, the more counters they gain and the more money they win.

Alan, who has previously appeared on The Price Is Right and The Weakest Link, said: "I kept getting the answers right and started to think I was in with a chance."

He has treated his family to a trip to Antigua with his winnings.
