Reds Slip Back Into Trouble

THE Reds are now five points adrift of safety after losing to Burnley at Oakwell last night.

The visitors, who could seal promotion to the Premier League on Saturday, scored the only goal of the match through Ashley Barnes in the seventh minute.

Barnsley went into the clash unbeaten in their last three, but crucial wins for Charlton and Millwall plunged the Reds back into trouble after a recent revival.

The Reds now face a trip to Bolton on Saturday, before a make-or-break visit to Charlton on April 15.

"We're disappointed, of course we are," said Danny Wilson. "It would have been a real confidence boost if we could have taken something from the match.

"But there's still great belief. We're still in with a chance, but it's down to ourselves. It's whether we believe or not that we can push it over the line, but I certainly do."
