Barnsley Company Launches Easter Egg Appeal

Monday April 7 2014

A BARNSLEY firm has launched its Easter egg appeal for the fourth year.

Gi Group branch manager Zoe Darcy and her team are collecting eggs within the South Yorkshire area to deliver to Victim Support, an independent charity helping adults and children cope with the effects of crime.

So far companies are being really generous and the eggs are coming in thick and fast, however the more that can be collected, the more children can have a surprise Easter treat.

Zoe said: "We're hoping to collect even more eggs than last year. It's so rewarding to put a smile on the amazing children's faces."

Anyone looking to help with their appeal are asked to drop their donations off at the Gi Group office on 74 Market Street, Barnsley.

This is a fantastic idea. It's the children who suffer the most as victims of crime and deserve a little happiness and if that comes in the shape of an Easter egg then so be it.
