Met Office Issues Snow Warning

Wednesday February 26 2014

THE MET Office has issued a snow warning for South Yorkshire.

Forecasters predict bad weather will hit from midnight on Friday to Saturday.

The warning - issued on its website today - says the public should be prepared for the potential for disruption to travel, especially during the morning rush hour.

It added: "Rain will turn to snow for a time, mainly over the high ground during Friday morning. Over low ground it is unlikely that any snow will accumulate but many areas may see falling snow and slushy deposits for a time."

What a joke. Because it's got the word snow in it you post it. Didn't see all the ones for rain over the past few months get put on. Another pointless article to collection.

Loada twaddle they will grit the roads for what ? It will cost a ludicrous amount of taxpayers money to wash it all down the drain theyve already said it will turn slushy. As for the manic sales of bread and milk, we do have the ferrets to feed. Lol.

Read it properly for goodness sake before posting sensationalist twaddle.... its going to be on high ground if at all, and the chance is still slim......look at the weather forecast given by the met office... certainly for town whilst there is a warning in place.... there is no snow forecast...
