POLICE inquiries are ongoing after ten cars on a Barnsley street were keyed on Valentine's Day.

Vandals struck on the night of February 14 on Queen's Drive, Barnsley, and wrote 'BMP' on the victims' cars.

The acronym is unknown. Anyone with information is asked to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101.

I've heard that they were caught on one residents CCTV and arrests are imminent!!

Its outrageous. These people need to be taught a lesson. FOLK WORK HARD TO BUY CARS. Have they got jobs. Do they work hard. I hazard a guess they do not. A fine or caution and that's it. It costs a lot of money to repair damage like that. If people have a problem over parking etc. it should be dealt with properly.

Various cars on road and drives were done. Most suffered 4-5 panel damage. Cars of all types were targeted including work vans. Not parking related. Also it's Permit Parking down there. Apparently same happened in Royston that weekend too - but not heard anything yet official. CCTV is still being checked, and more residents have had CCTV installed this past week.
