We Are Barnsley We Are Barnsley

PLANS have been submitted to use part of a garage forecourt for a hand car wash.

Brobot Petroleum Ltd have asked Barnsley Council for permission to change part of the use of a car sales site - beside the petrol station on Market Street, Hoyland - to a hand car wash.

A decision will be made by planners in the next few weeks .

You're better off washing your car yourself. If you look close at you cars paintwork after visiting on of these establishments you might find scratchers all over. That is because they don't change the water regular enough and the buckets collect filth and grime.

I love my car, I have spent a lot of money on it. I cringe when I drive past these places and people are queuing up for their cars to be washed.

I used to go to the ones in wwell and i tried each one and every single one scratched my paintwork and got too close to the door seals (not sure of spelling) on my old car even though i specifically told them not to as it was an old 'delicate' thing lol. the task of cleaning the car now falls to the mr, who isnt happy esp as i drive it most to work :P

You are right fred. Grit gets stuck in the spondges because of the dirty water.
