Koffi Bean Closes At Civic

Wednesday January 25 2012

BARNSLEY coffee shop Koffi Bean has closed its doors this week to focus on new ventures.

The business - which was based in the Civic - will continue with its town centre coffee carts and says it is committed to staying in Barnsley because of all the local support it's had over the years.

The shop has been closed since Monday and a sign was put in the window today saying a new facility would be opening soon.

What a shame. Loved going in there for a coffee and a chill. Been to the tapas nights too.

It sounded like it was sudden from the chronicle story - there will be an emporium style shop opening in the Arcade very soon, and I bet it won't be long till there will once again be a cafe.... it was certainly popular!
