Please don't start knocking the ordinary bobbies over this. As a policeman's wife
of 30 years I'm as disgusted as anyone else. My husband is struggling to get his work done because of massive government cut backs. No wonder if this has been standard practice across the force!

Totally agree as a cops wife myself. If only you average cop got paid anywhere near a fraction of this. It makes me quite sick when our normal officers are being forced to take paycuts in certain roles and a huge raise in pension contributions whilst having to work even harder due to there being less officers on the ground. It really makes me sick that the few very high ranking officers, who let's face it do no actual policing can be taking home wages and expenses like this.

this is were the country is going wrong. paying ridiculous money to pen pushers. our police officers walk out of their front door on a morning, and dont know if they will return ( risk of being shot or killed on duty e.t.c ). they dont get paid enough to deal with today's criminals. its sickening.

Until the outcome of the new Hillsborough Disaster investigation he should have all this stopped, as it is alleged that he is part of the mass cover up carried out by the police, and possibly the one who is now six feet under.
