Man In Custody After Alleged Theft

A MAN who is accused of stealing electrical items and food worth £1,142 during a break-in has been remanded in custody.

Terence Andrew Law, 38, of South Drive, Bolton-upon-Dearne, was sent to Sheffield Crown Court where he is due to admit the burglary.

He will make his first appearance on August 14.

Julian Brook, defending, made no application for bail at Barnsley Magistrates' Court.

All this needs is lenghty community service and a nice big fine, keep these idiots out of prison and fill them up with real criminals and sex offenders.

The above named is a persistent offender and its time the goverment stopped giving em free legal aid then they may think twice use the legal aid on worthwhile people who are really struggling with bedroom tax etc . Not persistent offenders waste of time

Its a disgusting crime that seems t be getting worse. Takin electrical epuipment is 1 thing but t steal food as well?? **** care less if e hadn't eaten in 2 days still makes it wrong in my eyes. They neva fink of the after effects of what they have done. Children cud have lived in that house,imagine how they feel knowin sum1 has been in their home?? Scared I wud imagine. E needs lockin up and dealing with properly, e shunt be allowed t do this again.
