Barnsley Town Hall Goes Red For Project Drive
Monday October 31 2011
BARNSLEY Town Hall is to be lit in red throughout November as part of an awareness campaign to encourage people to go online.
The Go On Barnsley - a month long campaign to encourage more people to get online - will launch at Barnsley Central Library on Thursday between 10am and 3pm.
It has been organised by Barnsley Council.
Coun Tim Cheetham said: "Too many people in Barnsley are missing out, either because they don’t know what they’re missing, or because they find the idea of computers and the internet all a bit scary. Go On Barnsley is the chance for people to try it out, with help."
