THE Reds have awarded their annual awards to three of their players, but boss David Flitcroft has paid tribute to the entire team and said they're all deserving of trophies after a monumental effort since his arrival.

The Supporters' Player of the Year is David Perkins, who has played 39 times for the Reds this season.

Martin Cranie was voted by his colleagues as Players' Player of the Year. In a season in which every player has missed at least ten matches, only Chris Dagnall has made more appearances than Cranie who has started 38 times and come on as a substitute twice.

"Cranes goes unnoticed but to the trained eye, he is one of the most intelligent centre-halves in this league," said Flitcroft.

"He's a top person, the lads love him and he's a special talent.

"As for Perks, we all know what he brings to the table with energy and courage. If I need to change anything tactically I get Perks over to the touchline.

"But the awards could be endless for all the players since I have been manager."

Young Player of the Year went to Danny Rose who has made nine appearances this season and who scored crucial late goals against Burnley and Ipswich.
