LITTLE Ebonie Webb has undergone an operation to remove cysts from her brain tumour.

Ebonie is said to be recovering well after her latest surgery in Sheffield Children's Hospital - and is now waiting for the results.

A scan towards the end of last month revealed the cysts, and the five-year-old also underwent an eye test to find out if her eyesight had worsened.

Ebonie's mum Leanne, of Honeywell, said: "She's eating ice-cream and talking everyone's head off."

Family friend Shane Bristowe, who runs the Team Ebonie website, said Ebonie was a fighter.

"The operation went well, though it's too early to say if it was a complete success," he said.

"She came home on Sunday and she seems her normal self - I can't believe how strong she is. She's a fighter and has proved them all wrong before and I'm sure she will do it again."

Ebonie was diagnosed with a brain tumour when she was six months old.

Leanne and Ebonie's father Mick are raising money Ebonie's treatment and are considering sending her to America.

So far, about £90,000 has been raised.
