Two Animals Rescued From River Dearne

A HORSE was rescued after falling into the River Dearne last Monday.
Firefighters were called to the incident on Pastures Road at about 11am and walked the horse to shallow water before rescuing it.
A dog was also pulled from the water.
A spokesman for the fire service said bit was not known how the animals ended up in the water but both were fine following the rescue.
