Wacky Willy Wonka Wedding Wows Guests

A WEDDING in Dodworth was like an explosion in a sweet shop last weekend.
Donna Barker tied the knot with Ben Low at the Fairway - with a Willy Wonka-themed reception.
Donna, 25, and Ben, 26, from Penistone, sent guests 'Wonka' chocolate bars with golden tickets inside, which they imported from America, to act as invites.
On arrival, guests walked through giant 'Wonka' purple and golden gates and each table had its own sweet-theme and name.
Inside, the reception room was decorated with giant candy canes and lollipops, there was a psychedelic wonky wedding cake, and even a pick and mix sweet table for guests to enjoy.
Confetti was replaced by sweets, the bride's bouquet was made from flowers and lollipops - and there was even an Oompa Loompa to keep people entertained.
The event took six months to plan and cost about £15,000, but the couple said it was worth every penny.
"Even staff at the Fairway who weren't working that day came in because they wanted to see the reception," said Ben. "It all went to plan and everyone seemed to have a good time and a laugh."
