More Than 50 Jobs Set To Be Created By DIY Firm

Tuesday February 26 2013

MORE than 50 jobs could be created over three years after DIY firm KDA moved to new premises in Dodworth.

Cliff Tibble - who started his business on a market stall - has bought a 64,000 square feet unit on Fall Bank Industrial Estate.

He said he will need employees to replenish shelves, for stock rotation, admin roles, and the logistics side of things.

"I believe the number of jobs will increase to more than 50,'' said Cliff. ''The location we are in is brilliant - so it's going to bring income into Barnsley. It's a positive thing for Barnsley."

Good news for the town!

K.D.A Is the "Aldi" of DIY ,reasonable prices and extremely friendly staff who are always on hand to tell you where the stock you are looking for is and give help and advice.
A true entrepreneurial success story and long may it continue!

KDA are great. They've got lots of things that boys want even if they don't know what they're for.
