Wednesday December 19 2012
GOLDTHORPE Library will be closed for five weeks to allow for a refurbishment to take place.
The library will be closed from December 31 to February 4 to allow Barnsley Connects to relocate into the building from the current office on Barnsley Road.
A council spokesman said: "During the closure period, books can be borrowed from or returned to any other library and no fines will be charged for items due back during that period."
