Final Plans Put Forward For Hoyland Tesco
Thursday April 28 2011
Plans for a new Tesco supermarket in Hoyland are now being considered by the council.
The new superstore, proposed for Market Street, would bring 140 jobs to the area.
Following its consultation Tesco has put forward a number of improvements to its final plans, including:
Adding a roundabout at the junction of Market Street and Wombwell Road to improve traffic flow.
Introducing a safety barrier at the access to the site to prevent anti-social behaviour when the store is closed.
Improving road marking around the site.
