BARNSLEY College has added a new science A Level into the curriculum which will begin in September. 

The Applied Science A Level covers the more practical aspects of science including forensic science, chemical processes, studying cells and human body activity.

Course Leader Liam Walton said: “For students interested in science this new course provides a way to study it alongside other A Level subjects and gives many more options for continuing their study at university. It is an interesting and varied course, taught by expert tutors, and great for people interested in a future careers such as nursing or midwifery, working as a paramedic or laboratory technician, or in primary teaching.”
