A VAN with false number plates has been recovered and police are trying to locate the owner.
On Sunday a flat bed Ford Transit was recovered on Washington Road, Goldthorpe.
The van had been stolen from Sutton In Ashfield in Nottinghamshire and the registration number fitted on the vehicle is not registered to it.
Police have asked anyone with information to contact 101 or ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and quote incident number 3 of June 24.
