A ROOM where you can take selfies to your heart's content has launched new backdrops as part of National Selfie Day.

Meadowhall has launched a host of brand-new immersive backdrops for its popular pop-up selfie experience, The Post Room

Over 600 visitors to the selfie attraction were surveryed and new themes have been introduced including a beach theme to tie-in with Love Island and a tennis takeover to celebrate Wimbledon.

Located on Meadowhall’s Lower High Street, shoppers will now have the opportunity to take the perfect snap against seven new backdrops.

The ever-popular Rainbow Wings will remain, and the new Raining Rainbows backdrop will continue to allow visitors to get truly creative and celebrate Pride this summer.

"The Post Room is one of a number of immersive experiences available for families to enjoy – alongside leisure activities such as rock climbing and The Sessions workshops.

"We have been overwhelmed by the amazing response to The Post Room, and National Selfie Day is the perfect occasion for us to reveal our refreshed backdrops. We encourage everyone to come back down and discover the fabulously fun new rooms for themselves.”

Customers sharing their selfies using #MHPostRoom tagging @LoveMeadowhall will also be entered into a prize draw to win a Meadowhall gift card to the value of £250.
