TWO Barnsley people who have pleaded not guilty to murder will appear at Sheffield Crown Court today.
Scott Dawson, 41, of Allotts Court, Birdwell, and Carol Dawson, 71, of Stonewood Grove, Hoyland, were charged with the murder of Gary Dean, who was discovered in a wooded area near Moorend Lane, Silkstone, on September 6 last year.
The pair, who are remanded in custody, pleaded not guilty at a hearing last month and will appear before Judge Jeremy Richardson, the Recorder of Sheffield, today to fix a trial date which has been earmarked for July 8.
