ROAD closures will come into effect from 6pm tonight for the Barnsley FC open top bus parade.
Church Street, Sadler Gate and St Mary’s Gate will be closed from 6pm until 8pm.
A rolling road closure will take place from 6.15pm along Grove Street, Pontefract Road, Schwabish Gumnd Way, Eldon Street and Market Hill.
The rolling road closure will have an impact on the following roads:
Grasmere Road
Coniston Road
Market Close
Langdale Road
Oakwell Lane
Lambra Road
Malthouse Court
Clyde Street
Bala Street
Harborough Hill Road – Slip Roads accessing Pontefract Road
GALA Bingo Car Park
Market Gate Car Park
Regents Street
All roads will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so.
On-street parking is restricted from 7am until 8pm on Church Street, Sadler Gate and St Mary’s Gate.
