TIMETABLE changes to some bus routes are set to change on Sunday.

Stagecoach Yorkshire have announced the minor changes have been introduced to improve punctuality.

On service 66 between Barnsley, Hoyland and Elsecar, following customer requests, the last bus will leave Barnsley at the new later time of 11.40pm daily.

Service 107 between Rotherham and Swinton has been revised to run via Nether Haugh and upper Haugh instead of Rawmarsh Hill to improve the punctuality of the service.

Following customer feedback, the service will now run as a hail and ride along Lime Grove, stopping at any safe point.

Minor changes have been made to some journeys on the following services: 6, 7, 9, 21a, 24, 57, 59, 219/219a, 220, 221 and X17 to improve punctuality throughout the day.

John Young, Stagecoach Yorkshire commercial director, said: “We know how important punctuality is our customers and we are committed to providing the best service we can. We regularly use customer feedback to help improve our service.”
