TYKES supporters are being given the opportunity to spend an evening with Barnsley Football Club, hosted by a new radio station.

The Vibe, a new radio station supported by Barnsley College, is hosting an Audience with Barnsley FC, including Chief Executive Gauthier Ganaye, on Friday January 25.

Gauthier will be joined by Barnsley FC’s Academy Manager, Bobby Hassell, Under 23s Head Coach, Martin Devaney, and a representative from the first team management.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and network with fellow Barnsley FC fans. There will also be a raffle with signed goodies, with all proceeds going to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Lee Barber, Radio Co-ordinator for The Vibe, said: “To have Gauthier, Bobby and Martin come to College is a real honour, this really is an event for everyone.

“The Vibe is an exciting new market for a brand new local radio station. We have in place an exciting line-up made up of northern broadcasters, comedians and passionate, local musicians.”

Carlo van de Watering, a Reds Report presenter, added: “This is a great opportunity to sit and discuss the ongoing season with the club’s staff and former players.

"We are anticipating a brilliant night as we raise awareness for both the new radio station, plus the wonderful work carried out by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.” T

he evening will start at 7.30pm at The Electric Theatre. Tickets are £7 and spaces are limited. Tickets are available from East Dene WMC, Opium Indie Bar, Manx Sports Bar or contact @RedsReport_ on Twitter.
