A GROUP of fire officers from Barnsley have biked 150 miles coast to coast to raise money for Ebonie Webb. Ebonie, four, needs to raise cash to pay life-saving cancer treatment in America and six officers - from South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue’s Technical Fire Safety team - cycled for three days along the Hadrian’s Wall route from Whitehaven to Tynemouth. Watch Manager Mark Scott said: “We first heard about Ebonie through the local media and straight away felt it was a great cause to put our efforts towards. “The trip itself was a tough one but if it helps Ebonie’s family get closer to their target then it will most certainly be worth it.” The officers are hoping to have raised around £300 to put towards Ebonie’s fund.
