PAPER can now be taken to to the recycling centre for recycling.
All four of Barnsley’s main recycling centres will accept it so should residents have additional paper that does not fit in the blue bin it will now be acceoted at the sites.
The move follows the phasing out of white recycling sacks, with residents now able to recycle paper and cardboard together in the blue bin.
Coun Roy Miller said: “We continue to look at new ways to support recycling across the borough. We are investing in a number of improvements to our household waste and recycling centres and have found a solution to provide paper recycling."
