SEVERAL commemoration services will be taking place across the borough this Sunday. Here is a list of where the services will be taking place.

Town Centre: The Mayor of Barnsley, Coun Steve Green will be leading Barnsley’s Civic Remembrance Day commemorations on Sunday 11 November outside the town hall. The procession begins at 10.45.
St Mary's Church: There will be an unveiling of the replica Barnsley PALS flags at 12.15pm, followed by ringing of the church bells at 12.30pm.
Hoyland & District RBL Remembrance Parade: The Parade will depart for the war memorial on Kirk Balk promptly at 10:40am to arrive just prior to 11:00am.
A service lasting approximately 30 to 45 minutes including wreath laying will take place at the war memorial.
South Hiendley: An act of remembrance will be held at South Hiendley War Memorial at 11am followed by a service of remembrance at Felkirk St Peter's Church at 11.30 am.
Carlton: St John's Church will be holding a service of remembrance at 10am folllowed by a short service in front of the war memorial at 11am. Names of local service people that lost their lives will be read during the service.
Monk Bretton: Monk Bretton Methodist Church will be meeting at the chapel at 10.30am to walk up to the war memorial for a service of remembrance at 11am. This will be followed by a united service at St Paul's.
