A COLLISION caused a road to close last night, delaying football fans from going home.
At around 8.30pm last night, emergency services were called to Pontefract Road following a collision between two cars, a red Toyota Celica and a black Volvo XC60.
No one was seriously injured in in the accident.
The road temporarily closed while the incident was dealt with and reopened just before 11pm.
