TRAIN strikes have been planned for today (September 8), and passengers are being advised to plan their journey.
Northern will operate almost 30% of their usual services with very few running before 9am and after 6pm.
If you are attending the Penistone Agricultural Show, there will be one train per hour to and from Barnsley during the morning, one train in the afternoon and the last train from Penistone is at 4.42pm
For the tour of Britian Cycling event, there will be no Northern service to and from Nottingham. Customers should use Cross Country or East Midlands Trains services.
Normal service will resume tomorrow (September 9).
