THE Hoyland & District Royal British Legion (RBL) are putting on a display of memorabilia to mark 100 years since the end of First World War.
The memorial will be displayed at the Hoyland Common Salvation Army Hall.
The event will run from Saturday July 28 to Saturday August 5. The launch starts at 10:00am on Saturday with a short service including bugler at 11:00am.
There will be a wonderful poppy fall with all the names of those that fought in WW1 from the Hoyland area along with a special note to those that gave their lives to protect their country.
It will open from 10am to 4pm on most days, with some evenings opening from 6pm to 8pm. On the final day, Saturday August 5, there will be a short send off with Standard being sent off to Ypres for GP90.
