BARNSLEY Sea Cadets are seeking volunteers to help with the rapid growth of the unit, or face turning new cadets away.
The Sea Cadets are a national youth charity, offering different adventures for 10 to 18 year olds, helping them as they grow into adult life.
The Barnsley unit are looking for uniformed staff, unit assistants and unit management team members are required in addition to a new Chairman and Treasurer.
The sea cadets will be holding a recruitment evening at their unit at 40a Racecommon Road, Barnsley on Monday July 2 at 7pm.
During the course of the evening those interested will receive a tour of the unit, meet the team and the cadets.
Should you wish to join, staff will be given full training and the unit is very flexible to meet the needs of volunteers.
