FROM June 23, Barnsley will celebrate it's history and Experience Barnsley Museums and Barnsley Town Hall will be marking the occasion in style.
Various venues across town will be holding a mixture of free and paid-for fun family activities, films and special talks, where you can discover more about your local area.
Discover the history of the Cooper Gallery, listen to the wonderful stories about Elsecar at the Iron Works and take a trip down memory lane or discover how Barnsley once was when Barnsley on film comes to the Lamproom Theatre.
On Saturday June 30, Barnsley History Day, celebrate at the finale of the Experience Barnsley Festival and celebrate Experience Barnsley’s fifth birthday!
