A MAN has been jailed for four and a half years for eight non-recent sexual offences against a young boy.
Giovanni Miccoli, who was from Barnsley, took a one-way flight to Italy while on bail.
The Crown Prosecution Service applied for a European arrest warrant in order to return Miccoli to the UK.
He subsequently pleaded guilty to eight sexual offences at Sheffield Crown Court.
