THE application for the next miller at Worsbrough Mill closes today.

The mill have been hunting for the next miller to continue the ancient tradition of stone grinding flour using water power.

The 17th century Worsbrough Mill has been milling flour since 1865 and is one of around 40 working mills in the country. It is estimated that there are approximately 300 traditional millers still employed in the ancient profession.

Richard Moss, who has been milling at Worsbrough for 25 years He said: "I wuld encourage anyone out there to apply for this job Male, female, young or old because you don't know what you've got inside you until you actually give it a go."
